MT. HOREB OPTIMIST CLUB

About Us

Established in 1995, the Optimist Club of Mt. Horeb  is a group of volunteers who are interested in making our community a better place by sponsoring community programs for, and working with, the youth of Mt. Horeb.  Mt. Horeb Optimist Volunteers have helped the youth of Mt. Horeb grow up with a sense of community and involvement by sponsoring many different projects. Associated with the Optimist Club is the Mt. Horeb Junior Optimist Club.  Junior Optimist Club is for kids ages 10 through 18.  They are kids who are constantly working to promote positive change in their community.  For more information on the Junior Optimist Club of Mt. Although we have many projects and do a lot of community service work, we are not "all work and no play".  Social functions are an important part of our organization and volunteers often get together for golf, cookouts, scavenger hunts, and more.

 

Being associated with other volunteers is a rewarding experience not only from a community service point of view, but also from a social and business viewpoint as well., Whington, Oregon, Idaho and sometimes Alaska. The highlight of  Optimist year is our annual convention, last
